I watched the live action Snow White yesterday with the family, and I’m not entirely sure how I want to handle it.
Look. I’ve got a goal not to write bad reviews about things. Life’s short enough that I don’t want to waste time telling people what not to watch (though there are some films that it might be considered a crime not to warn people away from, because . . . life is too short to spend watching soulless mockeries of classic films). So all I’m going to say is that I watched Snow White while I was working on coding my app, and I’ll leave it at that. If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all. So on that theory, I will hereby say all the nice things I can about the movie.
The closing credits of Snow White had very pretty pictures.
I made a lot of positive progress on my app during the movie, so a lot of good can come out of 109 minutes.
Gal Gadot (who plays the Wicked Witch) was very good in the first Wonder Woman film. I really liked Rachel Zegler (who plays Snow White) in the new West Side Story. I continue to like the original music to Snow White, and I was reminded at how timeless it is, and how it really doesn’t need any changes.
I’m going to have to cut myself off there. Each time I try to write anything else, bad things come out of my mouth.
