Okay, peoples. I’ll admit it: I’m reconsidering World of Warcraft. For those of you who don’t know, I was hooked on that game for about three years of my life. Totally loved it. It wasn’t like I was playing it 24/7 or anything, but I played it and only it to the exclusion of other games. I’ve been off the juice for about two years now, and I think that if I got back on, I could keep it in check–not go too overboard. I don’t know why it’s suddenly popped back into my “List of Stuff I’d Like to Do.” Maybe because it’s raining outside. Who knows?
So my question to you is–should I start playing again? I’d like arguments for and against, please. Because this is my life we’re talking about here. 🙂

Too late. I already renewed. 🙂 I just signed up for one month–we’ll see how it goes. If it’s too much of a time drain, then I’ll stop. But I have a pretty good idea what I’m getting myself into. (At least I think I do.) Thanks for the advice–I appreciate it.
AMS says that WoW is too expensive, so he has spent his time flipping among free MMORPGs. With no user fee, you don’t feel like you have to play. He’s currently working on Perfect World. How’s WoW coming?
WoW is going great–I’m not getting too sucked in, and I thoroughly enjoy it. An excellent reliever of stress. Tell AMS that WoW is totally worth it. The free MMORPGs don’t hold a candle to it. (At least the free ones I’ve played . . .)
