Welcome to the writing section. Here you’ll find everything to information on my published works, to what I’m working on right now, to other things that I’ve written. Pretty self-explanatory, really–but I needed to put some sort of explanation, so there you have it.
Vodnik
Vodnik is the story of a Roma boy, Tomas, who returns to his family’s ancestral home in Slovakia after a devastating fire. He discovers his roots extend deeper into the country of his birth than he ever imagined. Able to see characters from Slovak folklore that others think imaginary, Tomas will become a pawn in an age-old struggle that transcends mythology. Amidst a backdrop of anti-Roma sentiment, he and his cousin must match wits with myths, and uncover the secrets of Tomas’s past before their own futures become forfeit.
Click on over to this section to find out more about the book–how it was written, how it got to be published, etc. I plan on adding more in the days and months ahead. Chapter commentaries, for one thing. We’ll just see where it takes me.
Cavern of Babel
Probably the world’s best alpaca fantasy novel. (Well, at least the world’s only). Filled with prophetic mice, trusty sidekicks and adventure–fun for the whole family!
Miscellaneous
Ah, the wonderful “miscellaneous” category. Here I have some essays I’ve written, as well as some early stuff (Really early–we’re talking third grade here, folks.)
