Seen and Read in 2024

I just came across this post from director Steven Soderbergh detailing everything he saw and read in 2024, and I really liked the way he broke it out. I liked it so much that I decided to do the same thing this year with my year in review, detailing everything I consumed, and not just highlighting the best. I still want to highlight the best, however, so I’m going to put an asterisk in front of anything I gave an 8.5 to, two asterisks for a 9, three for a 9.5, and four for a 10. Make sense?

Not only does this seem more interesting to me, but it means I don’t have to come up with something pithy to say about why I liked what I liked. Bonus!

So here we go, in chronological order. Everything. I might have gotten a couple of the dates wrong, and I might have missed a movie or TV show or two. It’s hard to keep track of everything, but I know I got my 52 books in.
