To continue a bit of negativity from yesterday, I came across this great site that compiles one star Amazon reviews for classic movies, music and literature. It just goes to show that people can be real boneheads, especially when you ask the public at large for their opinion. This is one reason why I’m leery of Amazon reviews. Once there is a big enough sample (ie–lots of reviews for a single item), then I feel more comfortable accepting them. But where there’s just a handful? There are actually a variety of reasons. For those of you not “in the know,” Jessica Fletcher is the real name of Angela Lansbury. There was a lengthy (twelve years) biopic called Murder She Wrote, in which she played herself, but other than that, she’s gone by the stage name of Lansbury. Okay. I admit it. I’ve been watching this season. That’s right–after a two year hiatus, I skipped the awful first rounds and started watching once they were actually phone elimination rounds. Hey–with all the snow we’ve been getting, I had to start doing something to pass time. Especially since I’ve been working on stamping, addressing and sealing 1,000 newsletters. Sweeney Todd

So last night my wife was busy with homework. I should have beeen busy with homework, but I haven’t been going to school since 1996 without learning how not to do homework.
