Feeling Better

Of course, I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that I slept in until 11 this morning. Not that all of that was pure sleep, but if you add what I got during the night all together, then I’m doing better. I also came up with an idea for a sequel to Ichabod this morning, which makes me happy, as well. I’d always wondered what I’d do if I ever wanted to revisit that world again, and now I know–in enough time to plant seeds for the sequel into the draft I’m working on right […]

Still Tired

Baby girl slept better last night. I didn’t. So the net effect is that I feel worse today than yesterday. Then again, maybe that’s because I’m back at work–for half the day, at least. Sick

I know it’s been a while since I posted, and I’m sorry. Really I am. Tomorrow I’m getting internet at my house, so I’ll be able to waste time at home, which I’m sure will help me in my blogging endeavors. For now, I’ve got a head cold, and I’m tired of it. Nothing like trying to think while it feel like your head’s stuffed in a pillow. It kills my efficiency levels, too. I just seem to get things done slower. Yuck.

Out of Shape

I forgot to mention that a couple of days ago, I became the proud new owner of a Nintendo Wii, stupid name and all.  It’s more fun than a barrel of squid, but I’ve started to notice a disturbing trend: whenever I play for an hour or so, I’m sore the next day. I don’t think this is because the Wii is an exceptional workout, although it would be great if it were.  No, I think it’s because I’m in exceptionally bad shape.  There’s just no way that waving a wand around is that physically strenuous.  The good news I
