That’s right–it’s official. We’ve joined the ranks of Amazon. So for all you peoples out there who have been waiting for the right time to buy the book for all your friends and relations, you can now buy to your heart’s content. Just search for Cavern of Babel. (Of course, if you email me, I might be able to cut you a better deal than Amazon.)
In other news, I found out today that university library jobs take a looooong time to make hiring decisions. I read an article about how it can regularly be six months–and a year isn’t out of the question. Sigh. I guess I should be more patient. That’s all I have time for for now. Bye.
That sucks about the jobs. I thought waiting a month was a long time. Sheesh.
Checked out the amazon site. It says that there’s one for sale that’s a hardcover for over 70 dollars. Is that the collectible edition?
Very cool to have it on Amazon. Will they put a picture with it soon?
Isaac! You’re alive! How are things in Germany? The $70 version is some person trying to sell the trade paperback for a ridiculous amount of money. There should be a picture up soon–and an “author profile” thing for Albert Packard.
Seriously…
What takes them so long to decide?
Germany is definitely a cool place! I need to make more time to learn the language here, but at least I can buy bread. I think I’m going to put my *signed* Buttersby up on Amazon for $100.
