Please Amazon Responsibly

Wall StreetHowdy, faithful readers. It’s me–your friendly, movie-and-media-loving blogger, Bryce. Today I’m here with a very special announcement. Look over on the right of my blog. See that little Amazon search box? (Well, assuming you haven’t blocked ads on my site. If you have unblock them. Just for me. ๐Ÿ™‚ ) Anyway. That little search box lets you search Amazon from my blog. I know–not really shocking. But you know what’s cooler? If you enter Amazon through that little search box, then end up buying something during that search session, I get a cut of the profits.

That’s right. A percentage (well, four percentages–maybe six!) goes to yours truly. I’m not saying you need to pick out something to buy on Amazon just to send a little moola my way. But if you’re going to use Amazon anyway, why not Stick It To The Man, and make sure some of your money goes to a friendly blogger, instead of a big faceless corporation? Tell your friends. Tell your enemies.

If you’re not going to shop local, why not shop Bryce.

And bonus points to you if you figure out the connection between this post and the movie pic I linked at the top of it.

  1. Gotta love affiliate marketing.. seriously, my husband uses it with every internet thing he has. I will try to remember you come Christmas (generally the only time I use Amazon).
What is the connection between your psot and the movie?

  2. Gretel–no worries. It’s the thought that counts. ๐Ÿ™‚

Firecracker–I’ll probably remind people again when the holidays roll around. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thinking about doing some buying guides, actually. That could be kind of fun.

And the connection is that Wall Street’s famous line is “Greed is Good.” Get it?
