Busy Cop Out

It’s that time. I love writing the blog, but I’m going on vacation, and I’m going to step away from here while I do it. Have a great holiday all. Catch you next year!

Sorry about the lack of a post today. I’ve been working on putting the floor down in my addition all day, and it just ate up all of my time. Tomorrow I’ll be back to normal, I hope. For today, you’ll just have to get by without me.

I’d love to write a full blog post today, but I can’t. Off to Bangor for a library meeting and, because I wrote a blog post all about how great I feel all the time, the Gods of Sickness decided to smite me for my pride. I’ve got the sniffles. Life is hard. And so I’ll leave you with my traditional clip when I’m feeling like this. Have a nice weekend everybody.

There have been plenty of times when I’ve been driving and got stuck in traffic for forever, only to finally come to the other side of the jam and see no visible sign of whatever caused it in the first place. It’s never  made sense! Where did the jam come from? Why was it here? (Being stuck in traffic causes me to wax pretty philosophical.) At last, I have my answer: monkey drivers. This makes sense to me, and I’ll no longer wonder. So that’s good. On the other hand, I have no time to write a real blog post

Sorry this is late. I meant to post it earlier, but I’ve been a bit busy. (Seriously. That feels like something I just keep saying over and over. But I say it because it’s true.) Today I headed down to Waterville to give a keynote address at a library event. Fun times, but it means I’m behind on everything else.
