I just posted the next episode of Grumpy Old Vampires. This is an experiment that might quickly get me in over my head. I’m not usually a short story writer, so writing a short story a week is . . . different for me. Last week, I was struck with inspiration, and the story just sort of wrote itself. This week, I had to work a lot harder at it. Still, I think it might be good for me to do it. I’m going to keep at it for as long as I can.
In other news, I set up my family’s yearly NCAA Bracket challenge yesterday. I had my son fill out an entry form, too. He’s not even three yet, but he made a valiant effort. His final two? Pennsylvania’s going to beat Indiana by a score of 5-2. My wife said, “What are they playing? Hockey?” You have to be a sports fan to get it, maybe, but I found it really amusing.
I love March Madness. I love watching the games and rooting for all the teams I pick–it’s a great way to waste a lot of time. Anyway–I need to go clean the kitchen.
